Approve R-71 in the Lead–but Not by Much

Word here in Washington State is that R-71 would be approved if the ballot was cast today–but not by a wide margin….

I’m probably not telling you anything if you lived through 2008, but getting your side to vote wins elections.

Approve Referendum 71

Here in Washington State, we are having our own Prop 8 moment. There are some important differences between Prop 8 and Referendum 71, which will be on November’s ballot (unless Washington Families Standing Together’s lawsuit, described after the jump, is successful).
