		<description>Hi Ruby,

Susan from Wisconsin here. Sorry you have never visited us! We are surely not one of the three most undesirable tourist states in the nation!

Madison is a great liberal place where (nearly) everyone rides bikes, lives green, and is well educated. There you could find a lot of people who support gay marriage. Tammy Baldwin, Madison&#039;s Congressional Rep, is gay herself. Plus, some of the western Madison suburbs, like Middleton, are consitently rated among the best places to live in the country.

Milwaukee, where I live, is... not quite so liberal--but there is so much fun stuff to do here! We have the Milwaukee Brewers, who play in a great new baseball stadium, the Milwaukee Bucks (basketball), a great zoo, art museum (designed by Santiago Calatrava), Children&#039;s Museum, Science and Industry Museum (called Discovery World), and Public Museum. Plus a great lakefront (should have mentioned that first), park system, and breweries that give tours where they serve the adults free beer and the kids free root beer. Plus one of the best music festivals in the country the last week of June and first week of July (Summerfest.com).

You&#039;ll be welcomed in Milwaukee by Milwaukee Friends Meeting, to which I belong, if you should care to visit. Our Quaker meeting has been marrying gay couples since the 1980s and we have several married and committed gay couples (as well as singles) in our meeting.

Come visit!
