The older generations don't seem to be able to think 'outside the box' very well, where our generation/younger don't see what the big deal is about the whole thing and just naturally accept it like nothing is wrong. I guess that's what you get for growing up in a "generation of fear", where distrust rather than open-mindedness is taught. The harder parents try and drill that into their kids' heads these days, the more it just goes in one ear and out the other. I think a lot of it has to do with age as well.
